Unfortunately Ridley Scott isn't a good director anymore he hasn't made a good movie in years. The music doesn't make sense it's contemporary with Roman and it's a mess.
Byzantium is hard to imagine, materials to make a movie is hard to come by and most of things about Byzantium are not accurate. Furthermore, somehow western people are not "proud" of Byzantium since it fell to the Ottoman and now become Turkey. It is like a "shame" and don't want to be remembered, not to mention to display it visually in movies.
The Equalizer now heads to Rome.
