Looks good but kind of confusing. They bring back the Commodus sister (i forget her name) and make it seem like the son is the main protagonist... but could also be the weirdo w/ short blonde hair
Denzel Wahington shines in this movie.
Unfortunately Ridley Scott isn't a good director anymore he hasn't made a good movie in years.
The music doesn't make sense it's contemporary with Roman and it's a mess.

Ehhh, just doesn't grab me. I wish someone would do a movie set in Byzantium for a change.
Byzantium is hard to imagine, materials to make a movie is hard to come by and most of things about Byzantium are not accurate. Furthermore, somehow western people are not "proud" of Byzantium since it fell to the Ottoman and now become Turkey. It is like a "shame" and don't want to be remembered, not to mention to display it visually in movies.
Whelp, it's official. Denzel's laugh is in it. So instant classic! Ridley 🫡 I was worried when it was announced, less so now.
